The most astounding thing for me about this book is the similarity between it and another book I read which was written by a man with pschizophrenia. Or perhaps I’m too simple minded to under I am a big fan of Korine’s films. Gradually letters like laser beams appeared in the air, briefly at first, fading in and out as wafts of the mists touched their surface.

If you want the opinion of a faux Norwegian hermit. My verdict, considering Korine is one of my all-time heroes – It’s Views Read Edit View history. A series of hazy 8mm vignettes, accompanied by a soft, lilting voice over, in which girls skulk around schoolyards, spray graffiti, drink, smoke, pose and embrace, evoking the loneliness, confusion and overwhelming wonder of growing up. Filled with short, strange stories, this excellently scatterbrained writing gives direct insight to Korine’s dark, tunnel visioned humor, twisted thought processes and overall knowledge on all things weird. I read this in April and I can’t remember much of my opinion of it now, which means it’s not going to stick with me. Feb 23, ROC rated it did not like it.
