Bartenders, ticket sellers, poets, little old ladies—they are all ambushed. You captivated me at the beginning, but then it was all just…just…too much. It was impossible to make out whether he was laughing or bulgaoov, or what he was shouting, but he could be seen running down the path of moonlight, after his faithful guardian.
My humble apologies to those who love this book. The Lord giveth and the Lord take the away.

Please don’t lump me in with Twilight fans. I liked Pontius in the book, actually.
He simply sets the stage, which is the nature of his game. The tenor of the city, its street life, not to mention the look of the place and the landscape surrounding it.
