You actually get to see the beautiful people then, the clothes, the locations, not just read about them. Nope, this is a more personal writing piece for me. Trivia About An Absolute Decep I’m really disappointed with this book. Having said all that I enjoyed most of it and would read the author’s work again.

It tells the story of Hannelore who becomes pregnant and is sent away from her family in disgrace. It gets a little blah after a while and you kind of don’t care because the girl is an idiot or appears to be in her actions.

And how can someone bring their partner to another cioccollato and just lock them out of their life? Lesleey, that is Melbourne for you, the good and the bad weather wise! Regardless of being disappointed with the ending I read it quickly and didn’t want to put it down, even when I was on holidays with a group of friends I would disappear and go read.

Lesley Lokko might be “the author who brought brains to the blockbuster”, but, at least based on Bitter Chocolate, I highly disagree, it is not a very intelligent book – rather the opposite and I do not feel inclined to check out her previous work, based on this experience.

It was a little hard to stay interested when the main character looks like she dies in the first page. As for the plot While i love the author’s narrative, i think she spent a lot of pages on mundane descriptions.
Want to Read saving…. I was also unimpressed that the success of the women in the novel seemed hinged on finding the right man. It felt like the author was on a really good roll but suddenly needed to wrap things up too quickly.

An Absolute Deception
It’s an interesting story of three different women and how ,okko lives develop. Have loved her previous novels but this didnt live up to my expectations.

The first part of the book is very flirtatious, syrupy and extravagant and that’s why I found it for a while boring, even foolish. Incorporating what is essentially three stories into the one book, Bitter Chocolate just did not work for me. ledley
