Want to Read Currently Reading Read. Too much missing information. The first half was intriguing enough, especially if you’re a fan of the games, but the last half felt very rushed. Miller has fles There are fantasies that contain entire worlds; geography, character backgrounds, and invented language syntax are all accounted for and invented in regards to the story.

This is all well and good, but there are so many holes and questions, thus the novelization seeks to explain them. But i loved this book, it stands tall without the need for any support in background stories or geeky game fandom. Lists with This Book. She is also my favorite character. I want to read more of the Myst universe novels, and perhaps head over to GOG.

It may seem atrud too much work with too little gained for it, but your readers will notice that there is more than meets the eye, and this is the mark of a truly imaginative and detailed book.

Anyone who enjoyed Myst, definitely should read this anthology! The authors were the creators of Myst, and they did a wonderful job fleshing out the storyline through the numerous books and games.

Unfortunately, several years passed between playing the game and reading the book, so the connections are a bit fuzzy.

The third book was decent, but seemed to drag on in the middle and then end somewhat abruptly. A worthwhile read for Myst fans, to see the story behind the games. But it’s really the story of Aitrus, linro husband, and I wonder if her name is libdo the title mainly to prevent repetition.
