A beginner can pick one up and become an expert, just by reading the book, because of the tremendous breadth and depth of the subject matter objevt because of the perfectly clear exposition. When so few authors have a grasp samian something as simple as a sentence, it’s really rare to find a book that is intelligently divided up into sections or chapters, and one forgets how valuable such an organization can be.

Knowing at least some of those things, you won’t then be scared or disoriented when reading Moose’s manual about refs or blessing, or packages.

If someone has used one of these books or in best case both then your inputs will be greatly valuable for me to decode. I’d tell you when it was for me but I can’t actually remember any funny programming books.

First few chapters were a good review of the perl and even after coding in perl for awhile I picked up a few useful tips. And you will also able to interpret to some extent error and debug messages when things will inevitably go wrong for some reason.

He is an effective teacher, an accomplished writer, and the author of several popular Perl modules. The quality of typesetting, copy editing, and layout is not good enoughcertainly not as good as this book deserves.

I tried learning only concepts first without any programming language associated, but I couldn’t grasp much beyond definitions of objects, classes, methods, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, data hiding etc So this time I thought may be learning OOP using a language I am familiar with would be better: Damian is one of the most active members of the Perl community and was named the recipient of the first ever YAS Perl DevelopmentGrant awarded by Yet Another Society, which allowed him to devote an entire year to writing and lecturing on Perl and working on related projects.

It’s usually hard to understand ideas as big as these.
