I wish that Norman had gone into more details like these in his later books instead of boring us with verbose and pedantic ideas on the “superiority” of one gennder over another. In the novels, these various population groups are transplants from Earth brought there by space-craft through the behind-the-scenes rulers of Gor, the Priest-Kings, an extraterrestrial species of insectoid appearance.
The Gor novels have been criticized for their focus on relationships between dominant men and submissive womenguarfsmen latter often in positions of slavery. Number of bids and bid amounts may be slightly out of date.
About the Author John Norman, born in Chicago, Illinois, inis the creator of the Gorean Saga, the longest-running series of adventure novels in science fiction history. Books of Gor from Norman aren’t very serious but i just can’t stop reading it. I read this whole series in a marathon session, while stationed in England.
