The ability to direct his blood where he wanted it to go was just another perk of being a vampire. Maybe a bit of all the above but there is nothing about it as bad as marrying a man you just can’t stand. Bones has teeny tine scene. I liked Chance a lot. I am such a huge fan of Cat and Bones love story that I wasn’t sure how I would react to any of This is a short story about a woman named Isabella and her brother Frazier.
Although it is part of the Night Huntress series it doesn’t feature Cat and we only have a brief appear When Bones is asked for help by a human he cares for he sends Chance to assist her. Broken Destiny Complete Collection. This series is quickly becoming my go-to-guilty-pleasure when I need a fun read after one too many serious crime thrillers.

A Frist of Midnight: What should have been a simple job becomes much more complicated when Chance sets eyes on Isabella but can he help her and her brother? As noted above, you can read this as a stand alone without having read any of the related books and not really miss much.
One Foot in the Grave. I really loved the characters in Happily Never After. I would really like to see more of him in future Night Huntress books.
Isa is a strong female lead, who is going along with an engagement that she wants nothing to do with to save her brother.
I have learned nothing new about Chance’s character from this book. My only quibble is excessive use of “pal. I absolutely loved Greta Sparga Isa’s grandma! Robert is a mobster and like any jerky guy he wants what he can’ Jeaniene Frost’s Happily Never After is a fun quick read! There’s some funny moments too in her ways of keeping Robert at bay. Up From the Grave. His task is to save Isabella Spaga from coerced marraige to a wannabe Goodfellas mafia boss as a favor to an old friend.
Isabella in particular is portrayed in vivid detail to the extent she becomes a very unique character, and even though others consider her to be something of a damsel in distress, she doesn’t really consider herself to be one. Thanks for telling us about the problem. Heart of the Wolf. A very nice short story that takes place in Bones and Cat’s world.
Halfway to the Grave. Isabella was also a solid character – she clearly isn’t a weakling – she’s playing with the mob and afteer though she’s scared, she’s holding her own.
Want to Read Currently Reading Read. A Midnight Breed Novella. Her biggest fear is that something will go wrong This was a cute addition to the Night Huntress series that introduces readers to Chance and Isabella “Isa”.
Her biggest fear is that something will go wrong and adversely affect her grandmother’s health. Goddess with a Blade. Isabella is one tough chick! Haunted by Your Touch. I really hope these stories overlap with the main story line at some point. It’s a nice short story with humour, romance and suspence and great for a nice sh 4.

Nov 21, Sophia Triad rated it really liked it Shelves: One for the Money. This was jeanine cute addition to the Night Huntress series that introduces readers to Chance and Isabella “Isa”. Who knows if that will actually happen, but the plan is to give it a nver. For all that it is a relatively short story, the characters and story are well-developed. What I loved most, aside from the fun and snarky relationship between the two MCs, was the history behind Isabella’s grandmother.
I like that while he continues to go about things his own way despite Isabella’s objections, he doesn’t just steamroll over her but treats her with respect and as a woman who’s capable of making her own decisions.
